Frontier Lifeline Telephone Discounts in illinois
Frontier Communications

Low Cost Frontier Phone Service for eligible customers; this is a federally funded discount programs in Illinois. Call you're landline telephone company to apply for the Illinois Lifeline program or download the application online only if you participate in any one of the folling programs:

  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance)
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP)
  • Medicaid or SSI
  • A Seniors earning $15,000/year or less

Provides free telecommunications equipment to the deaf, hard of hearing, speech disabled and deaf/blind in Illinois. Free amplified telephones are included in this program.

Basic requirements:

  • Legal resident of Illinois
  • Working telephone service in your residence (must
    provide copy of phone bill)
  • Application signed by your Doctor or approved certifier
    that the applicant is deaf, hard of hearing, speech
    disabled or deaf/blind and unable to use a standard
